Refund policy

At 101 Carat, we strive for total satisfaction. As our products are valuable assets, our return policy is designed to ensure security and authenticity for both us and our customers.
RETURN CONDITIONS
To be accepted for return, your product must be in the exact same condition as you received it - unused, without signs of wear or fitting, with all tags attached and in its original luxury packaging. The electronic invoice or proof of purchase must be attached to the shipment.
PROCEDURE
To start the return process, you need to contact us at contact@101carat.com. Once your application is approved, you will receive instructions and a shipping address.
Important: Products sent back to us without prior request will not be accepted.
Shipping and Insurance: The buyer is fully responsible for the shipment until it is received by us. Returns must be made with insurance for the full value of the product. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
DAMAGES AND ACCEPTANCE (CONSTITUTIONAL PROTOCOL)
Please check your order upon receipt in the presence of the courier. In case of visible damage to the packaging or the product, a two-sided report must be drawn up. Without such a document, claims for transport damage cannot be considered.
EXCEPTIONS (NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS)
According to Art. 57 of the Civil Code, the right of refusal does not apply to:
Personalized Goods (Bespoke Jewellery): Any jewelery made or fitted to an individual specification (for example: a ring where you have chosen a specific precious and/or semi-precious stone and fittings which are assembled for you).
Hygiene considerations: Earrings and other pierced body jewelry are not returnable.
Other: We do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
RECERTIFICATION FEE
All our loose precious and semi-precious stones (Loose stones) come with an original laboratory certificate (GIA, IGI, HRD or others). When returning a precious and/or semi-precious stone, if the certificate is missing or damaged, a fee of €300 will be charged for re-certification in an international laboratory.
REPLACE
The surest way to get the product you want is to return the current one (if returnable) and, once the return is approved, make a separate purchase for the new product.
14 DAY PERIOD FOR EU
Notwithstanding the above, for orders within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days without reason, as long as the product does not fall into the category of exceptions (personalized goods and hygiene reasons).
REFUNDS
After receiving and expertly inspecting the returned product, we will let you know if the refund has been approved. Upon approval, the amount will be automatically refunded to the original payment method (your bank card) within 14 business days. Please note that processing by your bank may take additional time.
